When you go to work in San Francisco, you emerge from BART and start walking. Fellow data miners are marching to work, bedecked in their company schwag. This is the second year PNW Scala was held, and I went there again. Again, I got an AirBnB -- my last year's was taken, so I found a new one, at the foot of the Broadway Bridge across the Left Bank Annex. It even had a jacuzzi on the roof.
